Postponement of Marriage Retreat
We are greatly disappointed to be sharing this news. We needed to have at least 20 couples registered for the Branson Retreat by March 30th in order to sign the contract with the hotel. The contract requires us to guarantee at least 40 rooms for two nights. We are responsible to pay for all 80 room nights whether we actually fill them or not. InLight does not have any reserve funds to cover these costs. Therefore, we feel we cannot justify signing the contract.
We are not sure if the date in early December was the main problem or not but we intend to try one more time in February 2024. Kind of a Valentine’s get away. Obviously, this will not be in Branson due to severe winter temps. The intent is to conduct a retreat in Florida or in Texas. We will update the website and send out emails as soon as we have something determined.
We will be processing full refunds in the next couple days.
